Selected photos by Rod
Crawford from my 18 August 2019 spider collecting trip (with the Scarabs) to Jetty Island, Everett city harbor, Snohomish County, Washington. Although I'd collected on the island before, it seemed like a great place for a Scarabs group field trip, and the group indeed enjoyed it! I improved the occasion by seeking out a habitat I hadn't sampled on the previous trip, conifer foliage: which ended up being Pinus contorta (shore pine) exclusively. My extensive pine beat sample added 9 spider (and 2 harvestman) species to the island list.
