Album of Point Roberts Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from our 7 June 2022 spider collecting trip to Point Roberts, a bit of Whatcom County land far west of all the rest and connected only by Canadian territory (and water). After extensive preparation, we successfully passed through B.C. to our destination, and collected beside a large supermarket, in an extensive upland park, and two shore parks at the lower left and right corners of the main Point. We ended with 49 species (including one solitary juvenile of the Ozyptila that Laurel was seeking!). Other highlights included some of the recently introduced species that have moved south from Canada, and an unfamiliar isopod that may be a new introduction.
