Album of (upper) Bacon Creek Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford and Jerry Austin from our 29 March 2023 spider collecting trip to the effective end of Bacon Creek Road, just inside Whatcom County, Washington. We were apparently the first people to reach this point this spring, but despite lovely early-spring weather and dry habitats, spiders were extremely sparse, and we came away with a disappointing 18 species! However, we had fun and a very pleasant outing, and the poor sample will be easy to supplement as an adjunct to another trip.
