Album of Morse Creek Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from our 21 May 2022 spider collecting trip to sites on the Olympic Discovery Trail and Morse Creek, east of Port Angeles, Clallam County, Washington. The nice rail-trail gave us access to an incredibly green and lush creekside, a long forest corridor, and a not-very-spoiled beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Several of the spider habitats were good, and we ended the day with 36 species, making 38 with prior records.
