Album of Palmer Creek Field Trip
Selected photos by Rod
Crawford and Della Scott from our 30 September 2022 spider collecting trip to Palmer Creek, east central Snohomish County, Washington. The most easily reached remaining site, we reached it without glitches and found that, as hoped, the first fall rain had made leaf litter moist, though moss was still dry. With 17 species from our main site on the creek (no bridge, just a culvert) and 10 more from a higher site with lots of roadside hemlock to beat, I alone collected 27 species in a nice, peaceful spot in ideal weather.
