Selected photos by Rod
Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from our 15 June 2019 spider collecting trip to the Bear Creek recreation site on Spada Reservoir, Snohomish County, Washington. Reached by a trail that is level but has its ups and downs, the site has a great variety of open and forested habitats plus a cliff and riparian meadow (which was an unexpected struggle to reach — and to get away from!) We got 31 species including some good jumping spiders; saw no humans on or around the beautiful Snohomish County water supply reservoir other than a few hikers on the trail.
