Selected photos by Rod
Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from our 21 July 2022 spider collecting trip to Silver Creek, north of the old mining settlement of Galena, Snohomish County, Washington. We hiked halfway up the old road leading up the creek toward Mineral City, and set up for collecting where the road changed from a jeep trail to a foot trail (whose existence seems unknown to the Forest Service). Later, Laurel hiked somewhat higher by herself and found some additional habitats. We got 27 species and had a very pleasant day wrapped in forest solitude.
