Selected photos by Rod
Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from our 20 August 2019 spider collecting trip (with Jerry Austin) to Lake Dorothy, northern Alpine Lakes Wilderness, King County, Washington. Reached by a trail with lots of big steps, our sites (at around 3100' elevation) had a nice variety of habitats, including sizable areas of productive Sphagnum moss growing amongst other mosses right on the lake beach! Our sample came to a solid 37 species.
