Album of Quincy Valley Field Trip

Selected photos by Laurel Ramseyer and Rod Crawford from our 8 April 2023 spider collecting trip to the town of Quincy and vicinity, Grant County, Washington. Habitats were drastically altered or destroyed, and weather nowhere near as nice as predicted. At two of our selected localities, we got no species, and so few at the others that we ended with an inadequate 15 species. However, on the plus side Laurel got a previously unknown Drassyllus species and I recorded Trochosa ruricola for the first time in the Columbia Basin. But some day we'll have to get more spiders from Quincy.
