Album of Upper East Fork Hoquiam River Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from our 7 May 2026 spider collecting trip (with Kathy Whaley) to private timberland along the upper East Fork Hoquiam River, Grays Harbor County, Washington. We sampled two adjacent areas along Fruit Growers Timberland's road, one riparian, one in youngish conifer forest with broad grassy shoulders to the road, for an overall total of 40 species. Laurel got the opportunity she wanted to sample grave vases at Humptulips Cemetery to the northwest, but in vain; but otherwise, a successful day.
