Album of Lepisto Road Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford from my 29 October 2022 spider collecting trip (with Jerry Austin) to the west end of Lepisto Road in the North Fork Lincoln Creek drainage, Lewis County, Washington. The road (ending at a DNR gate) gave access to a large chunk of public land, much visited by hunters on this fall Saturday with decent weather; but the vast majority turned around and left when they found the gate locked! That suited us just fine, and we walked to moss, litter and foliage habitats without ever being shot at, ultimately heading for home with 42-44 spider species.
