Album of Descutes River Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from our 1 November 2019 spider collecting trip to the upper Deschutes River, Thurston County, Washington (not the one in Oregon!). Crossing a brushy clearcut and brambly canyon-side turned out to be a breeze, thanks to "secret" trails visible from the air, and we collected from decent (if chilly) habitats along the river, clearcut foliage, and an ivy-grown bridge farther upstream. In all we got 49 species, some of them very cool!
