Album of Pe Ell (west) Field Trip

Selected photos by Laurel Ramseyer and Rod Crawford from our 3 June 2023 spider collecting trip to sites along the Willapa Hills Trail, southwest of Pe Ell, Lewis County, Washington. After visiting a cemetery at the SW edge of town, we parked near the trail and hiked east to a grassy site by the Chehalis River and west to a forest site by Rock Creek. See first image below: Pe Ell town in upper right, dashed red line marks trail, round red dots our 3 main sites. Several very productive habitats combined to get us a fine 46-species spider sample.
