Album of Anderson Mountain Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford and Joy Liu from our 15 April 2012 spider collecting trip to our "reserve site" of the day (having failed to reach our intended destination), a public timberland area on Anderson Mountain in northern Skagit County. We hiked up a gated road and stopped at a tributary of Parson Creek (in retrospect, the main creek a little farther east might have been better). The habitats looked OK but the spider fauna was so low in diversity that we ended the day with only 18 species for the area. (Fortunately, we completed the sample in late May at another site).
