Album of Jackman Ridge Field Trip

Selected photos (by Rod Crawford) from the 12 June 2011 spider collecting trip (with Jerry, Liam and Ron Austin) to the SE slope of Jackman Ridge on the north side of the Skagit River valley. A "backup plan" goal when our first destination didn't pan out, the montane forest site (3050' elevation) had a fair but rather undiverse spider fauna, and our united efforts produced 18 species. A secondary site on the Skagit River directly below (220' elevation) added 11 species for a total of 28, making 30 with old records. A pleasant if unexciting day ended at Cascade Burgers in Concrete. Ron Austin promised stills for this page from the digital videos he was making, but they haven't materialized.
