Selected photos by Rod
Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from our 7 October 2025 spider collecting trip (with Kathy Whaley) to Monumental Mountain, SW of Colville, Stevens County, Washington. With a subalpine ridge fairly easy to reach by car, I thought this would be a fine place to pick up some different species, and had great hopes for that usually-splendid habitat of subalpine-forest dead wood. But the habitat disappointed me with only 2 species, and we only got 19 in all from the site. Still, it was an interesting place to spend the afternoon.
