Selected photos (by Rod
Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer) from our 21 June 2011 spider collecting trip to Jack Creek (at the North Cascades Highway), Okanogan County, Washington. Way back in 1981, Rod visited this area with a lepidopterist and got 13 species (good ones, though) from Finley Canyon just south of this site. Today's short visit was to supplement that old sample, and succeeded, with the help of Jerry Austin who got 4 good species under stones. This is the second of 5 albums from our June 21-22 mini-expedition to the Okanogan Highlands.
