Album of Lake Creek/Mt. Cavanaugh Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from our 30 May 2021 spider collecting trip to Lake Creek (just before it flows into Pilchuck Creek) and the slope of Mt. Cavanaugh, southern Skagit County, Washington. A trip plan of long standing, it still worked and the working forest owned by Longview Timber was fully accessible (on foot). Between sweeping in a recent clearcut, sifting moss and litter at 3 different sites, understory and conifer beating, active runners and a handy pile of rocks, we managed a fine sample of 46-49 species!
