Album of Quartzite Mountain Trailhead Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from our 8 October 2025 spider collecting trip (with Kathy Whaley) to a pair of not-so-productive cemeteries just NE of Chewelah, and the much better Quartzite Mountain Trailhead, Stevens County, Washington. Laurel's grave-vase research came up empty at the Pioneer and Catholic cemeteries but we did get 7 species there. At the trailhead we got very fine conifer foliage and leaf litter spiders, plus cool species from rocks, bark and dead wood, for at least 26 for this gridspace (plus one to rear). It was our 5th fully sampled place in 4 days.
