Album of South Fork Sol Duc River Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from from a 17 September 2025 spider collecting trip with Kathy Whaley to the South Fork of the Sol Duc River (just above its meeting with the main Sol Duc), Clallam County, Washington. Given an unexpectedly short time on site, we stayed within a short walk of the South Fork bridge of Forest Road 2918, where we got good samples from alder-maple leaf litter, trunk moss, fern understory, roadside grass and conifer foliage, as well as a few species from other habitats. After around 2 hours, we left with 37+ spider species!
