Album of Upper Lyre River Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from our 27 July 2025 spider collecting trip (with Kathy Whaley) to the uppermost Lyre River (just below its source, the outlet of Crescent Lake), Clallam County, Washington. We had good ferry luck on the way over (not quite so good on the way back), and I'd bought a later-model replacement for my old camera. We found our main site after only one wrong turn, which is lucky since the road to another planned site, on June Creek, was closed to traffic. But there was enough habitat near the river for an adequate 27-29 species sample.
