Album of Lower Elwha Dam Cliff Field Trip

On the third day (1 May 2008) of the Elwha River Biological Survey's 6th spider collecting trip, Ted and I (with Luke the mycologist) revisited the Lower Dam area to sample additional habitats: a cliff face just downstream from and above the dam; grassy riparian slopes and meadows; and the mature conifer forest with salal understory. Several additions to the project species list were taken, and the weather was the best of the trip. Photos by Rod Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer.
