Album of Elwha Bridge Field Trip
On the second advance scouting trip (27 February 2008) for
the forthcoming Elwha River Biological Survey, Trevor Anderson and I located
potential study sites along the east side of Lake Mills (the upper reservoir),
serviced pitfall traps placed on the previous trip, and collected (including
a leaf litter sample) at another of our pre-selected study sites, on the east
side of the river just above Lake Aldwell and near the U.S. 101 bridge. Results
were good and we had incredible luck with weather. Photos by Rod
Crawford and Trevor Anderson.
