Album of Lower Elwha Dam Field Trip
On the first advance scouting trip (15-16 January 2008) for
the forthcoming Elwha River Biological Survey, three of us (Ted Pietsch, Trevor
Anderson and me) tracked down and documented 8 accessible study sites along
the river. At the last site visited, on the shore of Lake Aldwell just above
the soon-to-be-removed dam, I took some photos and a leaf litter sample as a
small head start on spider survey work here. We were fortunate to have fairly
decent weather. Photos by Rod Crawford.
