Album of Fort Flagler Field Trip
Selected photos from the spider collecting field trip to Fort
Flagler at the north end of Marrowstone Island, Jefferson County, Washington
in the second half of the 7 December 2007 field trip with Laurel Ramseyer and
Rod Crawford. Photos by both, as credited.
The forest habitat was of a common type, but thanks to the season, the maritime
influence, and the large historic concrete Henry Bankhead gun battery bunker,
we got 30 species in less than 2 hours at one site and 12 species in a few minutes
at another. See this album for our visit the same
day to Indian Island Park.
