Album of McLellan Conservation Area Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from a 7 October 2013 spider collecting trip to the McLellan Conservation Area (a Spokane County owned 410-acre habitat preserve), on the south shore of Long Lake (formerly the Spokane River), Spokane County, Washington. Even though we had only a few hours here during which a series of brief but drenching rain showers passed over us, the riparian habitats were so good that we got 36 species, including some seldom-seen ones. See Laurel's version of the site here.
