Selected photos (by Rod
Crawford and Della Scott) from our 29 July 2011 spider collecting trip to Jack Pass in the remote southeast part of Snohomish County, Washington. The trip was originally conceived because of Della's interest in hot springs; Garmin Mineral Spring is nearby, but we didn't end up visiting it. The mostly second-growth forest contained some decent habitats, but it was getting late in the year for mid-elevation (2590') collecting, and we ended with a barely adequate 21 species. It was a pleasant trip, though the most interesting result was the common species we didn't get.
