Selected photos by Rod
Crawford from my 8 January 2015 bus/ferry trip to Kingston, Kitsap County, Washington. Lacking any available drivers, I just had to make use of that rarity, a nice day in January, so I headed for the last unsampled quarter of the Kingston area. Three sites with varying habitats and a couple of mid-day hours when it was warm enough to sift litter gave me 27 spider species, including a couple of beach-dwelling rarities.
