Album of Tucquala Lake Field Trip

Selected photos (by Rod Crawford, Markku Savela, & Laurel Ramseyer) from our field trip to Tucquala Lake, northern Kittitas County, Washington on 24 July 2011 and the previous attempt on 17 July. The first try (first 3 photo rows) was aborted by our inability to ford a stream, plus it started to rain! When we finally reached the lake the following week with Markku's rented Jeep, it was worth all the trouble: a gorgeous spot, practically unspoiled, with fantastic flower meadows and very good spiders including a distinct new species of Callobius.
