Selected photos by Rod
Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from our 20 May 2016 spider collecting trip to Rock Island Creek on the south slope of Badger Mountain, Douglas County, Washington. This was a delightful spot with both lush riparian and shrub-steppe habitats, plus all the peace and quiet one could ask for — and lots of pine cones! Some habitats weren't too productive, but in a short day (thanks to the long drive) we came away with 29 spider species. Don't miss Laurel's account here also!
