Selected photos by Sarah Hollingsworth and Richard Palmer (trip leader) from the Scarabs' 28 May 2014 group outing to the Cedar River in King County, Washington. Our site (reached by the Cedar River Trail and a side trail) is in that stretch of the river informally called the Landsburg Reach, and within the Big Bend Natural Area. We had a rather short time on site before it began to rain. Then it began to rain harder! But we had a nice outing anyway, the new people saw some good insects, and Rod added a few spider species to an old 22-species sample from nearby.
