Album of Kanaskat Natural Area Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford from a 1 May 2013 spider collecting trip with volunteer Lauren Taylor to the Kanaskat Natural Area, along the Green River in south-central King County, Washington. We had only a short day, so selected a nearby site where I'd hoped to collect earlier in the spring. We didn't get as many species as I thought we were finding at the time, but the total of 26 was at least adequate, and it was a pleasant place to spend the day.
