Album of Swauk Prairie Field Trip
Taking a break from the Elwha River project, Laurel and I
got out from under the drizzle in sunny eastern Washington. A swale among the
farmland near the Swauk Prairie Cemetery held nice natural habitats and a good
fauna, even though collecting was somewhat limited by strong winds. Photos by
Laurel Ramseyer and Rod Crawford. Laurel discovered her pine cone collecting technique on this trip.
