Album of Flat Lake Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from our 11 June 2021 spider collecting trip to Flat Lake, east of the Columbia River in Grant County, Washington. One of the few places with no chance of rain that day, the treeless habitat wasn't as rich as some of our West Side sites but yielded a sufficient 29 species sample, some of them especially interesting. Green marsh grass, dry steppe grass, grass litter, milkweed, an outhouse, rocks and especially sagebrush all added species; the genus Dictyna was unusually diverse on vegetation and a bridge.
