Album of Upper Wynoochee Valley Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford and Chris Snyder from our 1 September 2024 spider collecting trip to the upper Wynoochee Valley, Grays Harbor County, Washington. Chris (a new Burke Museum employee) wanted to make some photo and video materials on spider collecting for the museum's social media, and I put together a trip plan that I thought would suit him. It was more successful than I would have expected with only one collector (at least 40 species!) and Chris got plenty of images (unfortunately, mostly featuring me). I trust we also managed to open his eyes to the amazing faunal content of the habitats he's been casually strolling by all his life!
