Selected photos (by Rod
Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer) from our 3 July 2011 spider collecting trip to Cougar Flat Campground, NW Yakima County, Washington. Our second site of the day (visited for a Ponderosa pine cone sample), it was tough to get a full 21 species here but we just managed, including the very rare Theridion michelbacheri. The campground is closed to campers (a fact unknown to most websites) for reasons that became obvious, but it welcomed spider collectors! Laurel discusses this site (along with the previous one) here.
