Album of Field Trip South of Artic

Selected photos by Rod Crawford from a 3 September 2025 spider collecting trip with Kathy Whaley to 2 sites south of Artic (a wide-spot-in-the-road on Highway 101), Grays Harbor County, Washington. We collected in a riparian forest and field just south of the 101 bridge over the North River, getting quite a variety despite the heavy presence of introduced orbweavers (there was one great native one too!). Then we headed south to timberland along a powerline cut, where we got conifer foliage spiders and a few others. We finished unusually early (no more accessible sites) with 34 species in all.
