Album of Baker River Trail Field Trip

Selected photos by Rod Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer from our 13 August 2022 spider collecting trip to the Baker River Trail (upper end of Baker Lake), Whatcom County, Washington. We collected mainly around the suspension bridge that connects our trail with the end of the Baker Lake Trail, offering a nice variety of forest habitats with the shaded streamside rocks and the large slabs of fallen bark most interesting. The vast expanse of dry gravel bar by the trailhead parking lot added a few more, for 32 in all.
