Album of Thirteenmile Creek Field Trip

Selected photos (by Rod Crawford and Laurel Ramseyer) from our 22 June 2011 spider collecting trip with Jerry Austin to the Thirteenmile Creek Trailhead, Colville National Forest at the edge of the Colville Indian Reservation (Kettle Range foothills in the Okanogan Highlands). This was the last half-degree area in northern Washington with no spider samples. Now we have 42 species from there! After camping, Rod and Jerry collected intensively from dawn until 9:30 when Laurel joined us for a couple of hours. The habitats were varied and beautiful, the spiders nicely diverse, the mosquitos few and other people absent. A delightful spot! This is the third of 5 albums from our mini-expedition to the Okanogan Highlands.
