Album of Field Trip to Orondo & Corbaley Canyon

Selected photos from a spider collecting field trip to riparian habitats on the Columbia River at Orondo, and sagebrush habitats in adjacent Corbaley Canyon, Douglas County, Washington, on 1 May 2009. We took an adequate sample including a few rarities. First, the riparian cottonwood grove (in a little slice of county land) on the river. Photos by Laurel Ramseyer and Rod Crawford. Note, starting this year I'm experimenting with somewhat larger photos — feedback welcome from anyone with a slow connection.
